FAQ
How do we book?
To reserve your date, we simply need a signed contract and $500 non-refundable retainer.
Unfortunately, we cannot hold any dates without the signed contract and retainer.
Do you take payments?
We do!
The $500 non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking, however the final balance may be paid at any time, in any increment between booking and up to 30 days before the wedding.
How many photos will we receive?
We have sort of a "free photos" mentality. What this means is that the cost of your session with us is covering our time, talent, experience, any physical products, and editing time. The photos are "free." This means there isn't an exact set number for how many images you will get - however many images are great from your session is what will be included in your gallery. We don't believe in putting a cap on delivered images.
How will we receive our photos?
Your photos are delivered in a private online gallery. You can download the entire gallery or individual photos at a time, your choice! Your gallery link can be made shareable so you can easily share your photos with friends/family.
Who owns the copyright?
While we retain the copyright of the images from your wedding day, our contract gives you personal print and media permissions for any non-commercial usage. If you have any concerns about privacy, please let us know.
Vendors: Please contact us for commercial use licensing
Do you travel?
Absolutely! Travel is a big part of who we are, and we won't let location get in the way of telling your love story.
What is your turnaround time?
Our turn around time depends on the season, but typically you can expect your gallery within 4 to 6 weeks.
Can I see a full gallery of your work?
YES, absolutely! What we show on our social media and website isn't always a good representation of an entire wedding day. We'd love nothing more than for you to look through a few full galleries that we've delivered recently. Having a good idea of what your photographs will look like from an entire wedding day is super important. We'll send you several galleries when you inquire with us.
How would you describe your style?
We are documentary photographers, meaning we observe and capture your day as it unfolds naturally. We work very close to the action to capture real moments. We aren't the type of photographers who are going to ask you to pretend to do something, or do something over again.
Our clients understand that this involves us photographing the real moments of their wedding day instead of staged photos that don't tell the real story.
That said, we also mix this with creative portraiture for your couples session where our vision and direction really come through in a way that's natural for you.
Do you take group photos?
Although we photograph in a photojournalistic style for most of the day, we understand that most weddings also require some traditional group or formal photos.
Guests generally don't like to be standing around too long for these so we will organize this section of your day quickly and professionally, and then move on.
